At first glance the very box and bottle that encases the Balmain Homme eau de toilette, is very much synonymous with the house signature architecture and Olivier Rousteing's taste for finery. The military jacket details, from the imposing metallic epaulettes to the Balmain button-inspired eagle at the peak, finish of the midnight blue glass. The fragrance itself is very much inspired by the Balmain man, the new generation, who are energetic, creative yet modern. Perfumer Olivier Pescheux brings in Bergamot to compliment a mix of spices, while saffron and nutmeg provide sensuality and crispness. Leather and subtle violet leaf are also present, while cedar wood fuses with sweet tonka beans to finish off.
